If Limbaugh Had a Loan Scandal...
60 Minutes staffers would be taking bathroom breaks in the satellite trucks idling on Rush's lawn.
New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer is now investigating the dubious loans made to Air America from a non-profit boys & girls club. Failure of AAR to repay the $875,000 has led to the collapse of the charity organization. (FYI - if my business model ever involves loans from a non-profit, please ask me to reconsider my business model.)
10 days and counting since this story broke - no word yet from Newsweek, New York Times, Time Magazine, CNN, ABC, NBC, MSNBC, CNBC, and company.
BoreAmerica picks up their slack as does Michelle Malkin.

You're right, if Limbaugh had a loan schandal, the media would be all over it (except FOX). The reason no on is talking about Air America's "scandal" is that there is no "there" there yet.
BTW, What day of the week does Brit Hume pick up his check from the White House?
You're right.
Best to let Newsweek, Time, New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, CBS, NBC, ABC, LA Times, 60 Minutes, run with the hypothetical Limbaugh story at the risk of having FOX under report it.
By the way, Reuters tonight is reporting two indictments in the UN Oil-For-Food scandal.
Looks like little ole FOX news scooped them on this story too.
Actually CNN's Lou Dobbs is way ahead of FOX News on anything anti-U.N. -- he hates those guys... But isn't CNN a liberal network, hey wait, isn't it NBC and ABC who have run dateline type reports in primetime about the food for oil scandal...
(and didn't I hear that Sam Donaldson once spat on Koffi Anon's shoes which pissed off Fred Barnes 'cause he wanted to spit on Anon's shoes first, then Brit Hume got made at Sam Donaldson for making Fred Barnes cry so Brit Hume stole Sam's hair piece so Brit could sniff it when he picks up his check from the White House....)
Glad to see major media ran *a story* or two on arguably one of the biggest news stories since the war started. From what I read, more indictments are to follow too.
This group is rotten to the core - major media shrugged and Democrats want us to get their approval before we act in our interest.
By the way, Brit Hume picks up his check at the same place I do - Sandy Berger's pants.
...Sandy Berger's pants.
EEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWW!
I can think of about 50 news stories bigger than then the UN for Food Scandal in the last year alone.
"This group is rotten to the core - major media shrugged and Democrats want us to get their approval before we act in our interest."
Is "this group" the U.N.? Are they really that rotten? Do you think France and Germany and the U.S. will now go to the U.N. now that they have just about given up on Iran and its nuclear ambitions? What happens if the U.N. approves of economic sanctions against Iran? Will they be rotten then or only when you don't agree with them on issues?
oral ammunition,
"Bob" ;-)
Right-wing pundit David Horowitz responded to the August 7 death of ABC News anchor Peter Jennings as follows: "Peter Jennings is dead, may he rest in peace. Lest we forget, however, while he was alive Peter Jennings did considerable damage to the cause of civilization and human deceny [sic] by his sympathy for Jew-hating terrorists and their supporters."
Right wing Republicans sure are nice guys!
