Reductio ad absurdum: a type of logical argument where we assume a claim for the sake of argument, arrive at an absurd result, and then conclude the original assumption must have been wrong, since it gave us this absurd result.

You're right. Those 5000 Kurds probably staged their own deaths to look like they were gassed.

I do regret it -- I remember when it happened, watching the news, thinking I wish I had more power...
I honestly doubt the Bush's regret it... they're a bunch of liars, using the Right wing when they feel like it, using the death of innocents (Kurds) as another reason to attack Iraq...
I'm sure the Kurds are better off now but what a messed up history!
