And I Should Believe Mainstream Media's Take On Rove Because...?

While witnessing all the MSM Karl Rove blather lately, do you get the feeling of "hands on your shoulders" yet again?

I don't know what the truth is yet with this, but it's reassuring to know that bloggers will find it out.

This comment placed here for the same purpose that a bartender puts a couple of his own dollars in the tip jar at the beginning of his shift. Comments beget comments.

Isn't that weird how that happens? If a post gets one comment, it gets five. If it has zero after the first day or so, it usually stays at zero.

I agree with you on the Rove thing. I certainly don't think Rove isn't capable of what he's accused of, afterall, most people involved in politics are pretty much scumbags. But I'm not just going to take the mainstream media's word for it either, because they're bigger scumbags!

Love the title of your blog, it ensures that I'll be back here often. :) Reagan was the best ...

Off topic, but I see in your profile that you like The Pleasure of My Company. I enjoy Steve Martin's short stories (Cruel Shoes, Pure Drivel) but never really got into Shopgirl, so I skipped TPoMC. But from the rest of your profile I see that you obviously have good taste, so I'll have to try that book out!

What's funny about the Rove thing is that if you take the issue from start --> British Inel on Iraq's Nuclear ambitions --> Niger --> Joe Wilson's visit --> every reporter in DC knowing Plame's status -- > it's clear that there are many questions about Wilson and Plame's agenda and how her status was not kept secret.

But that would take context - something the media does not provide anytime a Conservative is on the hot seat. Democrats should worry that the more you dig into this story, the more one begins to yawn.

I'm a huge fan of Steve Martin. When I was 12 or so, I committed the entire Let's Get Small album to memory! That explains a lot I'm afraid. :) TPOMC is funny at times, but it's really more insightful than a page turner. It's a quick read - check it out sometime.

I'll expect a full report on my desk by Monday.

I think it's a simple vendetta... Rove was the architect of the defeat of the Democrats in more than one election, and now they want blood.
