Air America on Their Financial Health: What's Wrong with this Picture?
A friend who writes under deep background as Flora McDonald points out one very telling paragraph in a statement from AAR CEO Danny Goldberg attesting to the network's solvency:
Read all of Goldberg's letter here. He claims Right-wing media is to blame for AAR's money troubles and points the finger at Conservatives for trying to "stifle debate."
Seems to me it's not the Right that is "stifling debate" on AAR. It's their ratings.
Air America is in strong financial shape. Last week we started broadcasting from our new multi-million dollar studios. Several weeks earlier the Board of Directors of Air America's parent company accelerated re-payment of a loan from the Gloria Wise Boys and Girls Club of $875,000 two years in advance of a previously agreed upon re-payment plan.Priorities...priorities...new studios vs. destroying a Boys and Girls club...hmmm...providing health insurance for your employees vs. simply taking the money for health insurance out of their paychecks...lying about finances and ratings vs. admitting failure and your "non-profit" status. What's a Liberal network to do..??

Yes, Left of the Dial is an accidental indictment of the network. What started as a piece showing Liberal radio could be profitable, actually documented its insolvency, fraud of investors and employees, etc... Worst of all -- no talent either - just criticism without solution - the hallmark of a hack.

I used to have my tshirt website on Zazzle but as of two weeks ago, they removed my account. Apparently they don't like conservatives that call them on their pro-abortion bias.
