Coulter Pessimistic Bush Will Appoint a Conservative to the Court

Based on his track record thus far: "If Ronald Reagan were running today, Rove would have Bush endorse Reagan's opponent."

Looks as if I'm not the only one bent about the White House selling out Bill Bennett.

Ms. Coulter ends her essay with:
"Because of these tours, Reagan knew — as he calmly told fretful advisers after the Grenada invasion — "You can always trust Americans." The G.E. tours completely immunized Reagan from the counsel of people like Karl Rove, who think the average American is a big-business man who just wants his taxes cut and doesn't care about honor, country, marriage or the unborn."

Oh yes, Reagan did a good deal about honor (trading arms for hostages), country (the MX missle, with 10 warheads, became the peace missle and almost led us into WWIII), marriage (he was divorced once), and the unborn (what DID he do about it? - did he ever show up in person at an anti-abortion rally?).

Reagan and Bush (both of them) have played the right wing for fools. Admit it, you have been suckered again and again and again. They run like they are right wingers, take your votes, and then govern as country club republicans.

You guys are suckers, loosers, adrift in a country that was never and will never be yours... Maybe you need your own political party...? Look at Bush's picks for the Supreme Court -- it's as if the Democrats got their way...

Suckers!

Ray,

You're right, we've been suckered into 8 years of conservative appointments at every level of the justice system.

Don't mistake disappointment for anything else.

The MSM is no longer working as your Ministry of Information.

With Blogs and Alernative media, the Left will remain out of power permanently -- despite Bush's missed opportunities.

Oh yeah, and the day a Leftie nominates an evangelical pro-lifer for the Court, is the day I start listening to Randi Rhodes.

Oh yes, and please explain to me how supporting the Sandinistas was the moral thing to do?

Well, if you can call Democrats the left, then you're wrong, it will keep switching back and forth between the Repubocrats and Democrans...

Well, listening to Randi Rhodes isn't worth a thing, and I'm of the Left.

"Oh yes, and please explain to me how supporting the Sandinistas was the moral thing to do?"

I never supported them, but I don't think I'd sleep good if I had suppored the Contras...

My main point, that the right has been getting Used by Bush and Reagan and their ilk is valid, don't you think...
